Kutani Censer (Koro) Signed Koun-do, Meiji Period Decorated in iron- red, gold, black and green, the circular stepped base with a molded openwork floral banding painted in polychrome enamels and raised on three ruyi-head feet, the removable globular top painted on opposing sides with samari and rakans in a landscape and ho-o birds in a flowering landscape within paulwonia blossom and floral field on a gilt floral shippo diaper and iron-red ground, surmounted by a figure of a seated nobleman resting beside a rocky formation. some wear to painted decoration.
