Client Services Assistant

Weschler’s, the top auction house for antiques & fine art in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, is seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our administrative team. This is a multi-functional position relating to various administrative and day-to-day client services, while providing exceptional service to all Weschler’s clients.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Support business office’s administrative duties, including, but not limited to, answering phones and greeting customers and clients

· Post payments for auction and appraisal services and maintain accounts receivable ledger

· Work across departments to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues

· Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and customer records

· Work exhibitions, auctions and evening receptions as needed

Ideal Experience & Competencies

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

· Hard-working, energetic, and intellectually curious self-starter who can thrive in a high-pressure environment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication

· Multi-tasks and manages several projects at a given time

· Prioritizes and meets all deadlines

· Remains calm in stressful situations and creatively problem solves

· Strong follow-up and attention to detail

· Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) are essential

Annual Starting Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000*

*Posted salary range does not include discretionary bonus compensation.
