Two American Pieced Cotton Quilted Coverlets Early 20th Century The first, worked in an Expanding Diamond pattern in purple, pink, blue, white, black and gray squares within a black and white border further enclosed within a blue border, the backing in a large stylized Bear's Paw pattern in blue on a pink ground enclosed in pink and blue borders. The second, in an Expanding Diamond pattern in pink, lilac, green, blue, gray and maroon squares within a lilac and blue floral quilted borders; the backing in a light blue floral quilted ground within a blue border.
