Three Swakholak Blue and White Cosmetic Boxes and Three Bowls 16th-17th Century Each box compressed bulbous form, two decorated in iron-blue with floral and geometric reserves, the third octagonal shape decorated with a mythological horse surrounded by 'Auspicious Emblems', flowers and birds, two bowls with round deep everted bodies one decorated with figures on horseback and the other with floral reserves, and the third bowl of a similar shape enamel painted in iron-red and green in a pale blue glazed ground flowering branches and cloud bands. Each with degraded glaze, two boxes cracked, and two bowls with chips to foot. H of tallest box: 5in (12.7 cm; Diameter of largest bowl: 5.75in 14.6 cm
