Set with one round brilliant rose-cut sapphire weighing approximately 16.50 carats, surrounded by eighteen round old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats.

By repute, sold on behalf of Harry Winston, New York from the Evalyn Walsh McLean Estate. This sapphire and diamond ring was part of Mrs. Walsh's collection, who was the last private owner of the Hope Diamond.
