[ Silver and Plate ] Dutch Rococo Style Silver Teapot and Tea Caddy Last Quarter 19th Century The teapot with a chamfered square tapering body repoussed with scenes of frolicking putti in foliage, the leafage capped scroll spout and handle centering a hinged domed lid with orb finial, and raised on scroll legs with C-scroll brackets the rectangular tea caddy form with similar repoussed scenes of a milk maid with cow and two figures riding in a horse drawn cart, the removable dome lid with floral chase decoration and all raised on ball feet.
