enameled in the Slavic manner with a hinged seat lid having an engraved monogram. The first spoon: maker's marks in Cyrillic "KH.I.," assaymaster's mark in Cyrillic "VP," Moscow, late 19th century, having an enamelled bowl with twisted handle. The second spoon: maker's marks in Cyrillic "FI," assaymaster obscure, last half 19th century, having a niello decorated bowl with spiral handle. The third spoon: assaymaster marks in Cyrillic "L.O, Moscow, 1894" having a chased bowl with twisted handle. H, of throne salt: 1-7/8 in (4.8 cm); Total Wt: 3.2 oz. See Illustration.
