Japanese Bronze Urn Signed Sosuke (?), Meiji Period Archaic gu-form cast in relief with on opposing sides with ho-o birds in foliage, the removable fruiting branch handles surmounted by birds eating, beneath a wide flared rim cast on the underside with a ho-o bird in cloud bands, and raised on a circular plinth base cast in relief with a fierce dragon in waves.
