Imari Bowl and Arita Dish Meiji Period The first round, enamel painted in traditional iron-red, shaded blue, green, turquoise and gold, the interior with two large reserves, one of a shishi amidst beribboned balls and the other with two quails in foliage, the exterior similarly decorated with a band of shishi amidst flowers alternating with iron- red floral reserves; and the second round, painted in blue and white with a sinuous dragon in clouds.
