Chinese Export porcelain Tea Articles circa 1790-1810 The first, a helmet-shaped milk jug with a scalloped rim and branch-form handle, polychrome painted on the front in iron-red and gold with a floral spray, the second, a drum-shaped teapot polychrome painted on either side in iron-red and gold with a floral spray, the reeded entwined strap handle with floral terminals below a sloping shoulder decorated with an iron-red waved and dotted band surmounted by a similarly decorated lid with a beaded knop; the third, a tea caddy having a rectangular form with sloping shoulders polychrome painted on either side in burnt-sienna and gold with a monogrammed shield suspended from a bow knot within mantling, the shoulders polychrome decorated with black and gold bands enclosing entwined and scalloped patterned bands, the lid similarly decorated with a gilt beaded knop.
