Under black light: with milky green varnish and scattered restoration especially in areas of craquelure in face, work is lined, overall with craquelure, frame abrasion, and scattered surface abrasions, also with repaired tear l.l. corner with corresponding patch on verso, the work was likely restored by George Morrill between 1857-1865 with corresponding G. Morill/liner stamp on stretcher
