Condition:
The canvas has been relined. Overall with craquelure and surface soiling and yellowing. Scattered frame abrasion, some areas with pigment loss, along the perimeter of the work. Two areas of loss to the original canvas in the l.l. quadrant. A heavy varnish is visible under UV examination with an area of restoration along the u.c. perimeter and on Christ''s upraised arm, with scattered areas of minor restoration overall.
