A Pair of American repousse Silver Salt Cellars and a Pair of Spoons The salts, by S. Kirk & Son, Baltimore, Maryland, Last Half 19th century having a squat rounded body with allover floral repousse decoration and an engraved monogram surmounted by a beaded rim and raised on C-scroll legs with foliate knees and hoof feet. The spoons, by G. D. Clark, Baltimore, Maryland, (b. 1813, d. 1896), having a fiddle handle with an engraved monogram and a shovel-form bowl. The salts impressed on the base S. Kirk & son/ 11oz the spoons impressed G. D. Clark. Salts with minor wear to decoration and dents to body. H of salt: 2.125in; D of salt: 3in. Total Weight: 5.9oz. See Illustration
