Collection of Works by John Purpura: A Timed Auction

Weschler's is pleased to offer a collection of works by American artist John Purpura. Born in New York City, he was a student of both Peter Busa and Robert Motherwell. "My work is primarily about color: how it appears and then dissolves into form." His paintings have been exhibited extensively in New York over his 60 year career. In-person preview on Monday, April 11, 9am to 4pm and Tuesday, April 12 by appointment.
