Two Pairs of Victorian Decorated Glass Vases
Late 19th-Early 20th Century
The first pair, composed of black glass with gilt and white beaded highlights, the flattened central section decorated with white painted Classical figures, the verso with anthemion and scroll motifs; the second pair, possibly Mt. Washington, having opaque, frosted white urn-form bodies decorated with blossoming branches and butterflies in shades of pink, blue, cream, brown and green with gilt highlights. Each pair unmarked.
Height of tallest: 12-3/4 in (32.4 cm)
