The hinged top opening to view a gilt green-tooled leather writing surface beneath a central prospect door flanked by an arrangement of eight valanced pigeonholes and eight drawers. Lid with some repairs and cracks; leather writing surface with split; some blistering to interior veneer; rear feet with replaced blocks; patch repair where slant front lock engages to top; losses to applied molding and veneer.
