Of typical form, in the seventeenth-century style, possibly made for the Romanov tercentenary, the cavetto with a central embossed bust portrait of Mikhail Romanov within scrolling vine and flowers and a Cyrllic low-relief presentation band; the shaped handle with embossed Imperial eagle. Impressed on underside with 84 standard and maker's mark.
