Chippendale Walnut Tall Case Clock
Probably Pennsylvania, Circa 1760-1780
Having a black Arabic numeral brass chapter ring enclosing a dial with a chased sunburst surrounded by tulips and a date aperture; the single-train movement striking a bell on the hour beneath a lunette with a starburst. Gilt metal dial plate and lunette probably replaced; some restorations to door and bottom of applied panel to plinth; some repairs to the feet; lacking center finial to hood.
