George III Style Satinwood and Ebony Wood Rope Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock
Circa 1850
Having a polished brass dial with applied cast putto mask within foliate spandrels, with black Roman and Arabic numeral applied brass chapter ring and enclosing a floral chased ground with black Arabic numeral minute and date subsidiary dials; the two-train movement striking a bell on the hour and the lunette with applied mask and sunburst flanked by dolphins and scrolling foliage. Applied cast spandrels and lunette probably of a later date.
