George III Ivory Inlaid Tortoiseshell Octagonal Tea Caddy and An Anglo-Indian Pierced Bone Stationery Box

The tea caddy with steel escutcheon, the hinged top opening to view an interior with remnants of foil lining; the stationery box having two brass side handles and escutcheon, within applied pierced bone rectangular panels, the hinged top opening to view yellow fretwork paper lining. The first with blistering to top, losses, and repairs to tortoiseshell; some cracks around escutcheon; small cracks and chips to lower back; the second with losses, cracks, and repairs to bone, predominantly to the corners.
